Retreats

The beginning of February brings a Weekend Quilt Retreat at the Stables on Gouin Boulevard to brighten the long winter. The retreat is open to all members of BQG and begins on a Friday evening at 7 p.m. Participants are divided into meal groups, each preparing and cleaning up after one meal only. Personal projects are brought to work on and lots of fun and friendship preside. Final clean-up is mid-afternoon on the Sunday.

Following the overwhelming success of the winter retreat, we recently added a second edition in the fall at l’Ermitage Ste Croix in Pierrefonds. This retreat takes place during the week and is a fully catered event
